2- Are there many other reporting verbs? How can we decide on the best reporting verb?
WHO (SUBJECT) + TELL/ASK + WHOM (OBJECT) + INFINITIVE |
But some verbs must not be followed by an object and others can be used in both ways. Try to put the following verbs in their appropriate place: advise, beg, agree, offer, encourage, invite, demand, refuse, order, remind, claim, promise, request, warn, decide.

It's very important to remember the personal pronouns because they are common in reported speech.
