Icono IDevice Reading activity

After an intense day visiting Cardiff, Paco is exhausted. His feet hurt for walking so much. Before going to sleep, he decides to watch TV at the hotel room. He starts surfing from one channel to the next with the remote control.

TV is an incredibly varied media: BBC 1 is showing the News, followed by the weather forecast; in BBC 2, there is a documentary about Africa; ITV is showing a popular British soap opera called Coronation Street; Big Brother in Channel 4! Paco hates reality shows; in Channel 5, there are adverts!; in some other channels there are films, cartoons for children, or popular game shows such as Who wants to be a Millionaire?.

Paco decides to go back to Channel 5 after the advertising break, and they are showing Friends. He has seen it in Spain before and he decides to try. It is a very successful American comedy series. The main characters are three men and three women living in New York. In this episode, the women are scared because they found mice outside their flats.

After about half an hour, Friends is over. Paco is very tired so he turns off the TV and he quickly falls asleep.
