1- Think of the meaning of 'must' in the song. Have a look at the rest of the lyrics for a better understanding. Does it mean...?
a) Obligation.
b) Possibility.
c) Deduction.
2- Which other modal verbs can have the same function?
![Icono de iDevice](icon_casestudy.gif)
Now we are going to study another function of modal verbs. Let's remember the three modal verbs we saw in the reading text in the introduction:
What is Paco going to do in this city? We don't know yet but here are some possibilities:
- He could visit the area called Yorkville, full of restaurants, galleries and shops.
- He may go for a walk around Toronto's Queen's Quay.
- Or he might experience the main tourist attraction in Canada: the Niagara Falls.
1- What are these three modal verbs expressing?
2- Can you think of any other modal verb to express the same meaning?

Both 'may' and 'might' indicate a possibility but 'might' implies a more remote possibility than 'may'.
He may come.
He might come. (more remote)
