Some traditional Irish dishes are soda bread, Shepherd’s pie, poached salmon, as well as modern recipes such as Irish Whiskey Cake, Irish Cream Cheesecake or Irish Coffee. This drink was developed in Ireland, but it is now popular all over the world. It is made of hot coffee, Irish whiskey, sugar and heavy cream.
Shepherd's pie is very popular both in Ireland and in the UK. It is a delicious mashed potato and meat pie topped with cheese.  |
